Christmas on the road
I'm all for Christmas decorations. Lights, Inflatables, a tree or two up around your house (four in my case, but that's a whole 'nother post). Sure I like to see the Christmas spirit wherever I go...except when I'm driving. What would possibly possess someone to hang a big giant wreath on the front of their Escalade? Or wrap a giant bow on the hood of their car. It makes it that much harder for me to use my driving finger when I see that stuff. You get some clown driving right on your tail, you've got the lights shining right in your rear view mirror, you raise your hand ready to give them, the one finger salute and you look up and there's a bright red bow staring at you. It just sort of takes the fun out of the whole thing. It doesn't stop me from doing it, but it sort cheapens the whole experience for me.
There is one thing worse than wreaths, bows and ribbons. I saw one of these the other day. A happy little car cruising down the road with all this on it:
I don't care who's driving this car, it could be a car full of nuns or a bunch of Make-A-Wish kids out for their last ride, they'll get a double blast of the Ol' driving finger everytime!!!
